Helping You Move Better, Feel Stronger, and Get Back to Living Your Life
Whether you’re recovering from an injury, managing chronic pain, or working to regain strength and mobility, our physical therapy services are designed around one goal: helping you function at your best. We combine evidence-based techniques with personalized care plans—no cookie-cutter programs, no unnecessary visits.
At Eatontown Elite Care Center, you don’t need to be a chiropractic patient to receive physical therapy. Our licensed physical therapist works independently to create treatment plans tailored to your specific needs and goals. And if combined care would benefit your recovery, our chiropractor and physical therapist collaborate seamlessly to give you the best possible outcome.
What to Expect During Your First Visit
Your first appointment begins with a thorough evaluation. We’ll assess your movement, strength, flexibility, and pain levels to understand exactly what’s limiting you. From there, we create a treatment plan based on your goals—whether that’s returning to sports, walking without pain, or regaining independence after surgery.
We explain every exercise, every technique, and why it matters for your recovery. You’ll leave your first session with a clear understanding of your condition and a realistic timeline for improvement.
Our Approach to Physical Therapy
Physical therapy at our office is different from what many patients experience at larger clinics. Our physical therapist works one-on-one and hands-on, making sure every movement, stretch, or exercise is performed correctly and comfortably. You won’t be handed off to aides or left doing the same routine while someone watches the clock—we stay engaged throughout your entire session.
Your treatment plan is built around your goals and updated as you progress. If something isn’t helping, we change it. If you’re improving quickly, we advance your program. We don’t believe in unnecessary visits or long, drawn-out care.
When it’s helpful, your physical therapist and chiropractor collaborate behind the scenes to coordinate your care. This integrated approach helps you move better, recover faster, and stay that way.

When Physical Therapy and Chiropractic Work Together
While you can absolutely receive physical therapy without chiropractic care, many patients benefit from both. Here’s when combined treatment makes sense:
Spinal Injuries: Chiropractic adjustments can restore joint mobility while physical therapy strengthens supporting muscles and improves movement patterns.
Auto Accident Injuries: Auto accident treatment often requires both joint correction and soft tissue rehabilitation for complete recovery.
Sports Injuries: Athletes often need joint alignment AND strength training to return to peak performance safely.
Chronic Pain: Combining therapies addresses both structural issues and functional limitations for longer-lasting relief.
Our chiropractor and physical therapist communicate directly about your care, creating coordinated treatment plans when appropriate. But again—you’re never required to receive both. We recommend only what serves your recovery.
Physical Therapy for Specific Patient Groups
Post-Surgical Rehabilitation
Recovering from orthopedic surgery requires careful, progressive rehabilitation. We work with your surgeon’s protocol while tailoring your program to your individual healing rate and functional goals.
Athletes and Active Individuals
Whether you’re a weekend warrior or competitive athlete, we create sports-specific training programs designed to get you back in the game safely and prevent re-injury.
Seniors and Older Adults
Fall prevention, balance training, and mobility improvement are critical for maintaining independence. Our senior care programs focus on safe, effective exercises that improve strength and confidence.
Auto Accident Recovery
Soft tissue injuries from car accidents require specialized rehabilitation. We accept PIP insurance and work directly with your attorney when needed to document your recovery properly.
Chronic Pain Management
When pain has lasted months or years, a comprehensive approach is essential. We address movement dysfunction, muscle imbalances, and strength deficits that contribute to ongoing symptoms.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a referral for physical therapy?
No referral is needed. New Jersey allows direct access to physical therapy, meaning you can schedule an appointment without a doctor’s prescription. However, if you’re using insurance, some plans may require a referral—our team will verify your benefits before you start.
How many physical therapy sessions will I need?
It depends on your condition, goals, and how your body responds to treatment. Some patients see significant improvement in 4-6 visits, while others with complex injuries or chronic conditions may need 8-12 weeks. We monitor your progress closely and adjust your plan as needed. You’re never locked into a pre-set number of visits.
Will my insurance cover physical therapy?
Most major insurance plans include physical therapy coverage. We accept many providers including PIP/auto accident insurance, workers’ compensation, and Medicare. Our team verifies your benefits before you begin treatment and explains any out-of-pocket costs upfront. If you don’t have insurance, we offer affordable cash payment options.
What should I wear to physical therapy?
Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows easy movement. Athletic wear or gym clothes work well. Depending on your treatment area, you may need to expose certain body parts (shoulder, knee, back, etc.), so dress accordingly.
Can I do physical therapy if I'm already seeing a chiropractor elsewhere?
Yes. While our patients benefit from the convenience of coordinated care under one roof, you’re welcome to receive physical therapy here even if you see a chiropractor elsewhere. We can communicate with your other providers if you’d like us to coordinate your care.
Is physical therapy painful?
Physical therapy shouldn’t be unbearably painful. You may experience some discomfort during certain exercises or techniques—that’s normal when working injured or tight tissues. We constantly check in with you and adjust intensity based on your comfort level. Our goal is to challenge you appropriately without causing setbacks.
What's the difference between physical therapy and chiropractic care?
Chiropractic care focuses on spinal alignment, joint function, and nervous system health through manual adjustments. Physical therapy emphasizes rehabilitation, strength training, movement education, and functional improvement through exercise and hands-on techniques. Both are valuable, and many conditions benefit from a combination of both approaches—which is exactly why we offer both services at our center.
